Positive Appearance Center

This new program helps raise the self-esteem of women and children who are currently undergoing or have just completed cancer treatments. This is a time when many people are feeling self-conscious about their looks and are gaining back their self-confidence.

Women and children are referred to local salons for facial, hair, nail and makeup treatments provided by professionals. If going to a salon is too difficult, they can go to the Positive Appearance Center headquarters in West Hills, California for a more private setting. Additionally, a small gift will be provided at the end of each beauty session to help each person feel more beautiful during a difficult time.
